~First Annual Ralston Theatre Christmas Musical~ Miracle on 34th Street

The Story
A beautiful story filled with Christmas spirit and compassion, Miracle on 34th Street begins at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Kris Kringle, infuriated at discovering the intoxicated state of the Santa impostor scheduled to ride in the Parade, convinces the Parade director that he would be a better match. He fits the part so well that he is hired on as Macy's Santa Claus, a highly coveted position for Santa Claus impersonators the world around. Here the comedy begins!
Kris takes it upon himself to help the shoppers in any way possible, including sending them to other stores in search of better deals. He makes an instant connection with the children and parents and is bribed by the manager to tell her what his magical secret is. He simply reveals that he is Santa Claus. Convinced that she has hired an insane old man, she instantly decides to fire Kris from his role but, before she can do so, Mr. Macy, to her surprise, tells her how pleased he is with Kris, and promises her a hefty bonus. She is forced to but her anti-Christmas beliefs aside in order to deal with the publicity surrounding her new "Santa Claus". It takes a lot of work and a few surprises to fill this doubting manager with Christmas spirit but, if anyone is up to the task, it's Santa Claus!
Filled with Christmas cheer and a message of hope, Miracle on 34th Street is sure to enchant the whole family. With its wonderful songs and overwhelming sense of joy, everyone will leave wishing they could sit on Santa's lap one more time!
